In Paris there was always a set of magnificent places for visiting which hundred thousand foreign tourists came to the city. Today the situation has not changed at all, and streets of the French capital at any time of the year are full of idle travelers. On our site we had already told about a great number of interesting sights of this nice city, but we do not plan to stop on it. In this note it would be desirable to tell in brief the story of one of the most well-known museums of the world – the Louvre which every year becomes a place of pilgrimage of a huge number of fans of the art coming to Paris to see with their own eyes masterpieces from, perhaps, biggest in the world collection of works of art.

The capital of France is famous for the whole world for sights created by numerous masters throughout many centuries which continue pleasing both local residents, and millions of tourists from every corner of the globe. Perhaps, there aren’t many people on this planet who doesn’t know such names as Tour Eiffel, Arch Triomphe, the Louvre or Versailles. At the same time there are many places in Paris which have no bright tourist coloring, though their appeal and the historical importance do not become less. Among constructions of that kind it is necessary to mention Les Invalides.

For each traveler, who ends up in Paris, naturally there is an actual a question: what places of interest to visit, and what is obligatory not to pass?
In general, it is possible to describe Paris and its sights in many beautiful words, however one risks to miss something simply because those places in the French capital are very numerous. That is why it is easy to forget something in their listing.

The capital of the French republic has a large variety of every possible sights thanks to which Paris is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities of our planet. And such names as, for example, Arc de Triomphe, Place Charles de Gaulle, the Louvre, Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame de Paris, are nearly synonyms of Paris. Millions of tourists from every corner of the globe come here to see all these creations of architecture annually.
